In partnership with the National Football League, we will celebrate the kickoff to the NFL’s 100th season and the 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls on Wednesday, July 31. For the 20th straight year, the national celebration will begin with Play Football “First Play.” This great event will feature thousands of children who form a human chain and pass a football along a three-mile route from the location in downtown Canton where the NFL was founded to the front steps of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Play Football “First Play” participants (kids ages 3-16) receive a t-shirt (while supplies last), free admission to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, and lunch on the Hall of Fame grounds. Play Football is a year-round League initiative celebrating youth and high school football. The initiative aims to shape football experiences for flag and tackle participants, highlight coaches and ambassadors who promote values of football participation, and connect the football community through positive messages and experiences.
